Founded in 2025, Oneida Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse while honoring its deep-rooted history. Forged through adversity and fueled by resilience, we are more than just a team—we are a movement built on perseverance, unity, and respect for the game. Rooted in the proud heritage of the Oneida People, our club represents more than competition—it is a symbol of strength, renewal, and the enduring power of lacrosse. A game that has been played for centuries, lacrosse is more than a sport—it is a medicine, a battle, and a way of life. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are committed to expanding access to lacrosse, developing athletes, and fostering leadership within our community. Through organized play, mentorship, and community-driven initiatives, we stand as a testament to new beginnings, carrying forward the spirit of those who played before us while paving the way for future generations. More than just an arena, it is a place where tradition, competition, and community come together under one roof. Named in honor of Mary C. Winder, a dedicated leader and advocate for the Oneida people, this facility stands as a pillar of strength, resilience, and growth. It provides a state-of-the-art indoor playing surface for our athletes to sharpen their skills, compete at the highest level, and carry forward the legacy of lacrosse—the sacred game of our ancestors. With dedicated training space, spectator seating, and a vibrant atmosphere, the Mary C. Winder Community Center is not just where we practice and play—it’s where we build champions. It is here that the next generation of lacrosse warriors is forged, pushing the game forward while respecting its deep roots. When we step onto this floor, we do more than play—we honor history.
